家里养了几条豹纹守宫。主要的食物是面包虫和蟋蟀。冬天的时候蟋蟀不好买。天气渐暖，就买了几只回来。原来都是一只一只放进去，给守宫准备的屋子下面有缝隙，所以怕它们跑掉。那条微黄的萝卜就追来追去。虽然它眼神不够好，可是仍然很机敏。新近换了新的食盒，就把一只放到了食盒里。结果发现这种防逃逸的食盒确实是好用。蟋蟀沿着食盒的边缘转呀转，跳着来仍然会落在食盒里面。而它却只会沿着食盒的边缘转，浑不知其实它换个方向就可以轻松跳出这个小小的天地。第二天早上醒来，剩下的一只还在食盒里呆呆地出神。
